Jodi Lyn McQuade-Dobat's Obituary
Jodi Lyn McQuade-Dobat, 51, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024.
Jodi was born on July 17, 1972 in Royal Oak, MI. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Oakland University, she dedicated her professional life to taking care of others. Jodi excelled as a dialysis nurse where she spent the majority of her career. Her patients and their families appreciated her high level of compassion.
Jodi was a proud mom to 3 amazing children, Joseph (20), Charles (19) and Grace (19). She was a fun-loving, silly and spontaneous mom, who enjoyed game nights, golf and summer travel with her family and friends.
Jodi had a big heart, especially for those in need, that would often include animals, providing much
needed love and care.
Along with her children, Jodi is survived by parents Dennis and Carol McQuade of North Port, FL,
brother Douglas McQuade of Harrison Twp, sister Kelly (Craig) Jones of Oxford, friend/former husband
John Dobat of Columbus Twp, nephew/Godson Corey Jones, nephew Conner (Ellie) Jones, niece Kinsey
Jones, great nephew Henry Jones and Godson Owen Johnson.
A Celebration of Life and Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Jodi’s name to The National Kidney Foundation, a charity close to her heart, or an animal rescue of your choice.
