Mrs. Joanie "Lovey" Struyk's Obituary
Joanie “Lovey” Struyk, age 85, of St. Clair, died September 20, 2014. She was born September 1, 1929 in Montreal, Canada. Joanie married Elmer Struyk August 20, 1979. He preceded her in death in 2007.
She is survived by her children; Daniel Cameron Sinnett, Bonnie-Lee Joan Cameron, Lisa Jo Struyk and Lesley Anne Struyk, grandchildren; Daniel Cameron Sinnett II, Nicholas Cole Sinnett, Nathaniel Hamblin, Leighandra MacKenzie Purdy, Josiah Milford Roy Purdy, Delaney Leigh Schweihofer and Andrew David Struyk Schweihofer and great grandchildren and her brother; Donald (Elizabeth) Cameron and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sisters; Mary Tataryn and Eileen King.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be Thursday September 25th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp., concluding with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or Visiting Nurses Assoc. and Blue Water Hospice.
