Joan Ann Siemen's Obituary
Joan Anne Siemen, age 82, of Marysville passed away September 25, 2020. She was born in Port Huron on September 13, 1938 to the late Carl and Irma Jowett. She married Richard J. Siemen on September 17, 1960. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2011.
Joan and Dick were foster parents for many years. She was very active at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair where she was a Sunday school teacher, belonged to the Rosary Altar Society and the funeral luncheon committee. She also worked many elections in St. Clair Twp. and volunteered at Kids In Distress.
She is survived by her children; Teri (George) Butler, Paul Siemen, Lisa (Todd) Robinson, Laura (Steve) Burak, Jack Siemen, Bryan (Jennifer) Siemen and Tim Siemen.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, her brother; Tom Jowett and sister; Marlene (Ralph) Brow and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Cremation arrangements by Young Funeral Home, China Twp. To leave the family a message of comfort visit:
