First of all, please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I have the fondest memories of Mrs. Rossi and her family. She was a catalyst for change in St. Clair Little League. She opened the doors for young girls who had waited anxiously along the sidelines and in the bleachers watching their brothers play baseball. Girls Softball had swept the nation. Mrs. Rossi ensured we weren’t left behind holding bat bags and water bottles. I will be forever grateful for the experience and opportunity. 🙏❤️

Joan was a quiet woman who knew how to have fun. Our children played baseball and softball together. I remember we went away for a tournament and Joan doing cartwheels down the motel hall. It was the boys who were playing . I won’t say what she wore for a chin strap as she cartwheeled,just use your imagination . I wish her and Ruthie still ran girls little league ball. Those were the days.

I admired Joan, not for the same bloodline that ran through our veins but for the kind and loving person she was to her husband, children, grandchildren and greats... It was awesome to have met her and her lovely kind family a true reflection of her... More than anything it was awesome to see the loving second chance in life she got reuniting with our dad and for her children to know their real loving and caring bloodline granddad. I will always be grateful to God for this gift. I can't imagine that you all feel anything less than feeling you were Blessed beyond words. May you all find peace in knowing her bloodline runs through your veins to keep passing down those great and loving blessings. God is Good...May God just keep on Blessing! I never met Joan but "knew" her well through the many tales from Pixie and their times together. She was so very much loved and cherished-- my sincerest sympathy to all those who loved her so.
