Joan Messineo's Obituary
Joan C. Messineo, age 67, of East China Twp., died September 25, 2010. She was born July 22, 1943 in Monroe, Michigan to the late Emmett and Madeline Ranson. On September 4, 1965 Joan Ranson married Edward Messineo in Ecorse. She is a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair.
Joan was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Edward Messineo, sons and daughter in law; Jim and Ann Marie Messineo and Todd Messineo. Grandchildren; Michael and Stephanie Messineo. Siblings; Pete (Linda) Ranson, Betty (Jack) Henderson, Dave Ranson, and Mary Kay (Mike) Walerowicz, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother; Emmett Ranson and her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday September 28th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Fr. Greg Deters, pastor will officiate.
Visiting hours are Monday 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. and Tuesday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to mass.
A rosary will be said Monday at 7:00 p.m.
