Jesse Lee Fugate's Obituary
Jesse Lee Fugate, age 82, of St. Clair died July 30, 2011. He was born to the late Chester and Florence Fugate on June 29, 1929 in Napfor, Kentucky. On October 6, 1956 he married Gail Irene Marvin in Royal Oak, Michigan. She preceded him in death February 27, 2010. He retired from Ford Motor Co. after 32 years of service. He enjoyed repairing clocks. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #464 in Royal Oak where he served as past master. He also served as past master of the Masonic Lodge Evergreen #9 in St. Clair. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #498 Marysville where he received his lifetime membership.
He is survived by his sons; Chester Lee (Kathleen) Fugate of North Pole, Alaska and Marshall J.(Christine M.) Fugate of St. Clair, grandchildren; Jamie (Sean) Rice, Angie (Richard) Tallant, Travis Fugate, Patricia L.(David) Kindsvater, Marshall J. II (Farah) Fugate, Benjamin J. (Jennifer) Fugate, Rebecka E.(Dalton) Pelc, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sisters; Oreen Steel and Betty Hickman. He was preceded in death by brothers; Chester and Robert Fugate.
A Masonic service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, August 4 at the Masonic Lodge, Marysville, MI.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 5th at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be from
12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to service. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Shriner's Hospital.
