Jean Theresa Larch's Obituary
Jean T. Larch, age 74, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 22, 2025. She was born March 16, 1951 in Detroit to the late Richard and Mary Werner.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years; Mark Larch, her daughter; Sarah and Jesse Croxton and her sons; Nate and Johanna Larch and Andrew Larch.
She is also survived by her grandchildren; Nikki, Brooke, Tim, Jordyn, Sydney, Karly, Sylvie, Darby, and Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her brothers; Richard and Jim Werner and her beloved sister Mary who passed as a teenager but always remained a strong presence in Jean's heart and was there to welcome her home.
Jean worked for Macomb County Crisis Center as a grief counselor for 28 years. Eventually she shifted her focus by starting a Survivors of Suicide group helping many families coping with death of a loved one by suicide.
She ended up leading a team of counselors and volunteers who hosted many meetings and workshops.
Jean became a successful author after publishing her book "Dying to be Free". Jean has received an abundance of praise over the years because of her kind and giving heart.
Strong love for her family and close friends.
