Jayann C. Walter's Obituary
Jayann C. Walter, age 80, of Algonac, died February 27, 2015. She was born on February 1, 1935 to the late Jay and Maryalice Basney. She married William Walter, Sr. on June 18, 1955 by William's step-father Rev. Bublitz in Fair Haven. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2010.
She was an avid quilter and reader. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fair Haven, Michigan.
She is survived by her children; Jana (Bob) Desilets and William, Jr.(Suzanne) Walter.
She is also survived by her grandchildren; Phillip and Paul Desilets, Andrea (Gerald) Hanson, great-grandchildren; Benjamin, Gerald, and Harrison Hanson, brother-in-law; Frederick (Carol) Walter.
Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fair Haven. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, Clay Twp. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at church prior to the service.
