Janie Tucker lived across the street from my family while I was a kid and was a wonderful mother and wife to her kids and her husband Richard. She was one of a very rare class of people you meet in your life... specifically, "As a kid I always knew as did everyone else, that I was safe in her presence." I am know 50yrs old and my own mother is the only person I've known that I have enjoyed that level of commitment...that quality of mothering. Janie Tucker was one of the best people God has put in my path and I've seen most of the globe. We are less without her and anyone that knew her knows what I'm saying... My name is Howard Gauthier (Howie) and if Dick, Jeff, Kelly, or Matt ever read this please know that I send my deepest sympathies to all of you and your families.. I wish I could have seen Janie and Peggy enjoy grandkids for many more years. Damn ... What I would do to hear them both laugh and to taste Janie's chocolate chip cookies just one more time.. sorry my comments are so tardy .. I live in Nevada these days and just now found out of this terrible loss. Take care guys.. sadness consumes me..

To the family of Janie Tucker we send our thoughts and memories of a sweet lady. Janie would bring Jeff to school and always had a loving word for everyone around her. Janie would also occasionally see me out and about and was always so excited to tell me about her family and how everyone was doing! She will be missed. Her sparkle will always fill our hearts.
