Janice Carolyn Convis' Obituary
Janice Carolyn Convis, age 85, of St. Clair, passed away January 24, 2024. She was born April 30, 1938 to the late Bernard (Basney) and Isabelle Winnifred Yeip. On May 9, 1959 Janice married Harold S. Convis. He preceded her in death in 2014.
Janice had a passion for music. She was once the organist at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair for many years. She also enjoyed being a member of the St. Clair Hymn Singers. Janice was on the Election Board and worked many elections.
Janice was an avid gardener and loved working in the yard around her home. Her family will remember her as a wonderful homemaker that simply enjoyed sharing time and making memories with them.
Janice is survived by her children, Dean Convis and Darlene (Steve) Baker; grandson, Matthew Convis; nieces, Kathy McKenna and Brenda Orava and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is predeceased by her brother, Thomas L. Yeip.
A private graveside memorial will be held at Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair at a later date.
