Janet J. Paul's Obituary
Janet J. Paul, age 83, of Marine City, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on September 13, 2024. She was born on April 10, 1941 to the late William and Alma Forbes. Janet married Robert Paul on August 29, 1959. She worked as a sales representative for Avon for over 40 years. She was a woman who was true to her faith, she was an active member at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church, Marine City. Janet was a pillar of the church serving in the altar guild, assisting with several church events, including the church dinners. She was a longtime member of the red hat society. In her spare time, Janet loved the outdoors, especially deer hunting up at their family cabin in Levering, MI or fishing when they lived on the river.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert Paul; children, Robert (Hollis) Paul Jr., Jeff (Sue) Paul, Robin (Steve) Furtaw; grandchildren, Robert and Shane Paul, Jeffrey (Amber) and Zachary (Gina) Paul; great grandchildren, Olivia, Zoey, Judah, Renee; brother, Dale (Diane) Forbes as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Scott Paul.
Cremation arrangements with Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A memorial service will take place on Monday, September 23rd at 11a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church, Marne City.
