Jan Lee Roy Rumbaugh's Obituary
Jan Lee Roy Rumbaugh, age 76, of China Twp., died June 29, 2016. He was born June 28, 1940 in China Twp. to the late Chester and Marjorie Rumbaugh.
Jan honorably served his country 3 years with the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1961 aboard the USS Grand Canyon and 3 years with the Naval Reserve from 1961 to 1964. On December 23, 1966 he married Mary Murray. He also worked over 30 years with MichCon Gas Co. Jan's family will remember him as an all around outdoorsman because of his love of canoeing, kayaking, hunting and campfires.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Mary Rumbaugh, daughter, Jana (Jeremy) Donaldson, granddaughters; Aubrey, Lainey and Chayse, nephew, Keith Rumbaugh and many other dear nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by brothers; Gary and Mike Rumbaugh.
