James Arthur Thueme's Obituary
James Arthur Thueme, age 70, of East China Twp., passed away unexpectedly June 10, 2018. He was born July 10, 1947 in St. Clair to the late Leonard and Helen Thueme.
Jim married Patty Tucker on February 14, 1970. She preceded him in death in 2017. Jim retired from Vogel Industries, Marine City. He was an avid sportsman and power chute enthusiast.
He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Christie and Randy Newhouse. He is the proud grandfather of Lexie and Lauren Newhouse. Also surviving are his siblings, Sharlene (Wilfred) Schmidt, Lyle Thueme, Linda Thueme, Duane (Karen) Thueme and Ron (Anne) Thueme and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister in law, Arla Thueme.
Funeral services will be Saturday June 16th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours are Friday 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
