James Nicholas "Buck" Pecor Jr.'s Obituary
James Nicholas “Buck” Pecor Jr., age 61, of St. Clair, passed away January 4, 2020. Jim was born December 28, 1958 in St. Clair to the late Jim and Geri Pecor.
On May 17, 1985, Jim married Mary Pearl and they enjoyed 34 years of marriage. Following graduation from St. Clair High School Jim worked for the Diamond Crystal Salt Company from 1977 to 1997. In 1997 he joined the Pipefitters Local 636 and worked as a pipefitter until his retirement in 2012.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed cooking and was a big Red Wing fan. Jim cherished his friendships with his fellow members at St. Clair Hunt and Fish.
Jim will be deeply missed by his wife, Mary; son, James Nicholas (Casey) Pecor III; siblings, Gary (Carol) Pecor and Jody (John) Warren; nieces and nephews, Taylor Warren, Nicole Pecor, Jared Pecor, Hayden Pecor; special niece, Jodi Stephan; special friends, Judy Ceasor and Stevie Chapman and many extended family and dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his sister, Teri Pecor.
A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Pine Shores Golf Club, 515 Fred Moore Hwy., St. Clair, Michigan from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a luncheon served from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
