We remember Jimmy as "kids" growing up in Algonac in the 50's. We saw him play football and run track like NO one else in the county. We pretended BEING Jimmy on Saturday morning's after watching him "run wild" on Friday night's at the Lion's Field. He is STILL the greatest athlete I ever saw compete "back then". The fact that Jim lived in and supported 'Algonac and youth therein for some 9 decades illustrates who he really was. We last saw Jim some 2 years ago at, of course, an AHS football game. He looked and acted "the same", but, that is who he always was. Kudos to this selfless human being who "made a difference". My condolences to Dorothy and the family! What indelible memories you have to share of Mr. Muskrat.

Did you know Jim had a scholarship named after him?
