James L. Hable's Obituary
James L. Hable, age 75, of St. Clair, passed away unexpectedly March 28, 2023. He was born February 10, 1948, in Detroit and adopted by the late Amos and Ivol Hable. Jim graduated from Centerline High School class of 1966. He then continued his education at Central Michigan university and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Jim married Candace “Candy” Wiseman February 17, 1977, at the First United Methodist Church in St. Clair. Jim was a Physical Education teacher at Eppler Junior High. Jim was a Michigan State trooper for 11 years then became detective sergeant and was stationed at the Richmond Post until his retirement in 2000 after 25 years.
Jim loved playing golf, boating he also was a very handy man with anything. He also enjoyed working on model boats. But most of all Jim cherished the time he got to spend with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Candy; sons, Skip (Kim) Murray, Brian Hable, Jeff Hable; grandchildren, Nathan Hable, Isabella Murray, Nick (Christi) Sansom, Jordan Manulow, Miranda Sansom, Alexandria Moran, Sarah Hable, Aidan Hable, Alexis Hable; 7 great grandchildren; stepbrothers, Ron Spenella, Jimmy (Debbie) Spenella; stepsister, Barbara (Mike) Nutting, along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Sunday April 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp., with visiting the same day 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to wishes of the family. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
