James D. Brennan Jr.'s Obituary
James D. Brennan Jr., age 59, of East China formerly of Auburn, New York went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with ALS on February 29, 2024. He was born To his loving parents, the late James D. and Anne (Hennessy) Brennan Sr. on November 27, 1964 in Auburn, NY where he was raised. Jim married LeeAnn Cuppen on September 18, 1999 in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Croswell, Michigan. Jim loved his work as a computer technician and was employed with East China and Anchor Bay School Districts for many years.
Jim was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. He was very proud he just became a 3rd degree knight with council 856 in Marine City. He was a member of the St. Clair Chamber of Commerce. Jim enjoyed anything to do with computers, which he was self-taught to build, fix any computers he worked with. He was a very hard worker, liked to travel especially back to New York to visit his family. He had a good sense of humor, liked getting his Bigby coffees and eating, enjoyed talking to people and helping out anyone that needed it. Above all Jim cherished the times he spent with his children and would spoil them often.
Jim is survived by his wife of 24 years, LeeAnn; children, Niamh, Maeve, Anne, Aidan, Jamie, Finn; Siblings, Lisa (Bill) Brennan-Berry, Kathy (Martin) Salvas, Michael (Abby) Brennan, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his infant sister, Mary Brennan.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday March 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. With visiting on Thursday March 7, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:15 p.m. Memorials may be made to ALS of Michigan or St. Mary’s Cemetery Fund.
