Jacquelyn M. Fournier's Obituary
It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that Jacquelyn M. Fournier fell asleep in death at home surrounded by her family on March 12,2018.
Jackie was born on November 5,1941 to Jack & Mary Genaw of St. Clair. She is survived by her siblings, Thomas (Sherry) Genaw, Winnifred (George) Sumner, and Timothy Genaw.
She married her husband Warren J. Fournier on July 22,1972. They were married for 45 years. Warren and Jackie were blessed with 2 children, Dawn (Mark) Cronce and Daniel (Melissa) Fournier. Jackie had 4 grand children, Ashli (Joseph) Lincoln, Marcus Cronce, and Lily & Isaac Fournier. She had two great grandchildren, Marcel & Joseph Lincoln.
Jackie was a librarian at the St. Clair Library for 25 years. Her story hour at the library touched many children’s lives. Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. To Warren, Jackie was very special. She was his beautiful partner and the love of his life. She was an amazing mom who took such good care of her children. Her grandchildren loved her deeply and will treasure all of their memories of her.
The greatest gift she gave her family was the knowledge of Bible truths. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on January 7,1961. For 57 years, her devotion to her God
Jehovah, was paramount in her life. She volunteered her time to teach others about the truths she found in God’s word, the Bible. Jackie had a strong hope in the Bible’s promise, when one day there will be no more sickness, sorrow, or death. She wanted to share this hope with everyone. She will be missed by so many.
A memorial honoring her life will be held on Sunday March 25, 2018 at 1:00 pm at The
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6268 Fred W Moore Hwy, St. Clair. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation via the website www.jw.org. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
