Jacqueline "Jackie" Wilkie's Obituary
Jacqueline “Jackie” Wilkie, age 76, of East China Twp., passed away January 12, 2018. She was born January 1, 1942 in Lake Leelanau, Michigan to the late Margaret and Michael Rice.
On April 7, 1958, Jackie married Lawrence Wilkie. Jackie was a wonderful mother to her children and many others looked up to her as their mother as well. She also held a special place in her heart for all her grandbabies and great grandbabies.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Wilkie; children, Larry Jr. (Monica) Wilkie, Julie Wilkie, Chris Wilkie and Jackie (Nick) Hutton; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and sister, Shirley Opasik. Jackie was preceded in death by her son, Gary Wilkie.
A memorial service will be held Saturday January 27th at 12 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to service.
