Jacob "Jake" Harms' Obituary
Jacob "Jake" Harms, age 36, of Algonac, MI, formerly of Sterling, Illinois, died suddenly on May 22, 2015. He was born on January 10, 1979 to Lawrence and Mary Jo Harms in Dixon, IL. He married Jennifer Cameron on September 6, 2009 in Charlevoix, MI. He was an avid sports fan of the Michigan Wolverines and Chicago White Sox. He worked as a journeyman plumber.
He is survived by his wife; Jennifer Cameron-Harms, children; Charlie, Maeve, and Ainsley Harms. He is also survived by his parents; Mary Jo Harms and Lawrence Harms, sisters; Courtney Harms and Danielle (Denver) Dawson, niece; Madison Dawson and nephew; Sam Dawson. He is also survived by his father and mother in-law; Charles and Barbara Cameron, Brother in-laws; Tim (Rebecca) Wood, Jay (Vicki) Wood, Matt (Lisa) Cameron, sister in-law; Virginia (Eric) Barnowski , and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 29 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp., Michigan. Visiting hours will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
