Hudson H. McNiff's Obituary
Hudson H. McNiff, age 84, of Marine City passed away November 14, 2017 at Medilodge of St. Clair. He was born May 2, 1933 in Marine City to the late Myra and Evans McNiff. Hudson sailed the Great Lakes at age 16 as a wheelman. He served in the Korean War in 1954-1956. He went on to work as a pattern repair at Steffys in New Baltimore for 16 years, from there he went on to work at the New Haven Foundry for 25 Years. Hudson was very active in the South Eastern Michigan Conservation club volunteering as a cook. He married Patricia Lux on August 22, 1953. Together they had 4 children; Hugh (Cindy) McNiff, Linda Isrow, Charlene (Frank) Sebest, Darryl (Elizabeth) McNiff, 8 grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Warner, Robert McNiff, Nancy Weglarz, and Mary-Lou McNiff.
Service will be Friday, November 17th at 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours are Friday, November 17th, 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 at the Funeral Home.
