Henry Pilat's Obituary
Henry L. Pilat, age 75, of St. Clair died July 29, 2011. He was born May 15, 1936 to the late Frank and Stella Pilat in Detroit. He married Marcella Brown February 16, 1955 at the El Toro, California Marine Base. He was a very active Marine veteran who served his country in the Korean War. He retired from Eugene Welding in 1999. He enjoyed traveling up north with his family as well as camping and snowmobiling.
He is survived by his wife; Marcella, his children; Denise(Dr. Gary) Curatolo, Henry (Susan) Pilat, Dean (Dawn) Pilat, Kathleen(Brian) Smith, and Ronald(Stephanie) Pilat, 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother; Frank Pilat and sisters; Frances Kaszewski and Theresa (Arthur) Stempien.
Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 2nd at St. Christopher Catholic Church, Marysville. Interment will follow at Riverlawn Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Monday, August 1st from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. and 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. at church prior to mass.
