Henry Lloyd Amama's Obituary
Henry Lloyd Amama, age 85, of Clay Twp., went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 23rd. He was born August 13, 1931 to the late Hendricus and Lura Amama in Benlio, Kentucky. Henry served in the Army during the Korean War. After the Army he went to Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. Throughout his career, he worked as a mechanical engineer in the trucking industry. Including several projects on military vehicles and traveling overseas. Henry was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and boating.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ellen Amama, children; Martha Amama, Henry (Kristin) Amama, Daniel (Kristyn) Amama; 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; and sister, Donna (Charles) Holzhauer
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 27 from 10-11:30 AM with a funeral service beginning at 11:30 AM at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Henry will be laid to rest in Oaklawn Cemetery, Clay Twp. Memorials may be made out to wishes of the family. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
