Harry W. Kaufman's Obituary
Harry W. Kaufman, age 91, of Marine City, died July 5, 2009. He was born March 8, 1918 in Peters, Michigan to the late Arthur and Lucy Kaufman.
On May 29, 1943 Harry married Evelyn Roehring, she preceded him in death in 1991.
Mr. Kaufman retired from Star Oil Co. and is a member of St. Martins Lutheran Church, Marine City.
He is survived by his children;
Thomas (Pat) Kaufman, Ronald (Linda) Kaufman, Jean Langolf, and Sharon (James) Sweet.
Grandchildren; Debbie (John) Hamilton, Lisa (Aaron) Forest, Carrie and Lori Kaufman, Steve Kaufman (Debbie Chrissinger), Daniel (Lindsey) Kaufman, Jill (James) Mason, Mark and Karen Langolf, David and Jonathan Sweet.
Great grandchildren Emma and Cole Forest.
Sister; Dorothy Walters, brother Eldon Kaufman, sister in law Dolores Kaufman, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers William and Russell Kaufman and a sister Marion Kammer.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, Marine City. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Marine City.
Visiting hours are Friday 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. and Saturday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.at the church prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to St. Martins Lutheran Church.
