Harry "Tex" Lejames Kimmel's Obituary
Harry “Tex” Lejames Kimmel, age 63, of St. Clair died March 14, 2016. Harry was born December 13, 1952 in St. Clair to Raymond and Ada Kimmel.
He served his country honorably with the United States Marine Corp. Harry married Marlene “Mickey” Artman on November 4, 1977. He retired from Chrysler Corp. following 30 years of employment.
He is survived by his wife, Mickey Kimmel and mother, Ada Kimmel. He was proud to have 3 sons, Jason (Shelby Coffee), Joseph (Katrina) and Carl (Talitha), but with no daughters to raise he was blessed with 6 granddaughters; Ella, Erin, Zoey, Alice, Melody and Makayla and 2 grandsons; Drake and Eli. He is also survived by siblings; Ronald Kimmel, Terry Hartman, Judy (Al) Williams, Leon Kimmel, Vivian (Mike) Hyslop, Betty (John) Pegg, Sam (J.C.) Kimmel, Paul Kimmel, Clayton (Linda) Kimmel, Henry Kimmel and Sara Sampson, dear friends; Tom and Ruth Pierce, Tony and Arlene Borek, Ray Govaere, Biff and Kathy VanTiem and Bill and Kim Robb, sisters in law and brothers in law; Kathy and Gary Becker, Elaine and Gary McCloud and Charlene Millard. He will also be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews and many friends.
Harry was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Kimmel, sister, Kathy Riffenburg, brother, David Kimmel, father in law and mother in law; Vincent and Bertha Artman, sisters in law and brothers in law, Harry Hartman, Diane Kimmel, Vincent Artman Jr. and Jim Millard.
