Harry and I went to St. Mary's together for 8 years......he was quite a character back then. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.
Harry and I played with a lot of the same musicians over the years; CJ Morris, Jeff Hoagland, Roadside Rick, and others, but never had a chance to jam together (as we both played bass). I always enjoyed and appreciated his approach to playing blues bass guitar. We also shared a love for the old Fender Tele basses. Rest in Peace brother.
I remember visiting Harry and Becky at their house in St Clair. I'm so sorry he passed. My condolences to his family.
Harry is one of my oldest friends in music. Many nights at the old Attic Bar jamming with many of Detroit's best blues players. He was a cherished friend who I lost track of for many years, until we reunited just a few years ago. My heartfelt wishes to all the family, Pappy as we all called him, is another who will not be forgotten.
