Dear Joe, Keith, Barb, John, and Rob,
First of all, Chris and I are so sorry for your loss. secondly, we are also sorry we weren't able to make it to the funeral home to pay our respects, but we have both been dealing with health issues of our own. Your Father and Mother were so kind and generous towards Chris and I, when we were a young family just starting out with a toddler (Sam) in tow, when we rented your Grandma's house next door on Brown St. The rent was only $150.00 per month and we were encouraged to make any improvements that we wanted to, with all materials supplied by them, as terrific landlords as they were. We wish we could have stayed longer than we did. Now, we have rented several places since those early 70's. I only wish our other landlords were a fraction of Bud & Joan's greatness. For over 50 years we got to watch the Joachim families grow up living in the St. Clair area most of our life.
Bud was always with his beloved Joan, until he wasn't and you could tell his heart was broken upon her passing, and now I believe he is right where he wants to be, and that is with her in our Lord's loving arms. God bless all of the offspring Joachim's and their families and may the Lord give you comfort in this time of sorrow. We look forward to the time when we can all be together in Heaven. Love and Blessings to you all,
Kent and Chris Bacon
