Harold Darwin Reeves' Obituary
Harold D. Reeves, age 90, of St. Clair died October 24, 2013. He was born to the late Amos and Charlotte Reeves on March 23, 1923 in Walnut, North Carolina. He married Ruth Fisher on Sept. 2, 1945 in Spartansburg, South Carolina. She preceded him in death on November 19, 1993. He was a member of Grace Bible Church, formerly First Baptist Church, St.Clair. He worked as a auto body repairman for the Ford dealership in St.Clair for 42 years. He enjoyed playing music and sharing his faith with others.
He is survived by his sons; Darwin (Jan) Reeves, of Port Huron, Virgil (Lois) Reeves, of Kansas City, MO, Dan (Karen) Reeves, of Milan, MI, 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter. He is also survived by sisters; Ernestine (Cloice) Plemmons, Dorothy Cody, brother; Joe "Mack" (Betty) Reeves. He was preceded in death by brothers; Albert, Aubrey, Bill, Amos, and James Reeves, sisters; Leta Ledford and Evoline Baker.
Services will be held on Tuesday October 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Bible Church, St.Clair. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, St.Clair. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at church prior to the service.
