Mr. Harold S. Convis' Obituary
Harold Scott Convis, age 84, of St. Clair, died September 24, 2014. He was born May 15, 1930 in Lansing to the late Paul and Josephine Convis. Harold honorably served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He married Janice C. Yeip on May 9, 1959 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair. He was employed for 29 years with the Diamond Crystal/Akzo Nobel Salt Co. in St. Clair, retiring in 1995.
Harold was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and the Pine River Sportsman Club.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janice C. Convis; son; Dean S. Convis, daughter and son in law; Darlene S. and Steven Baker and grandson; Matthew S. Convis.
Honoring Harold’s request cremation has taken place and no visitation or services will be conducted.
Memorials are suggested to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 123 S. Seventh St. Clair, MI 48079.
