Gregory Beattie's Obituary
Gregory William Beattie Sr., age 50, of Marine City, passed away peacefully at home with family on August 7, 2009. He was born January 4, 1959 in St. Clair.
Mr. Beattie was an avid outdoorsman and a loving father and grandfather. He was known as a very generous man with a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his children; Brian Sturdevan, Jennifer (Steven) Cirelli, Greg Beattie, Adam Beattie, Michelle Ward, and Jacob Ward. His parents; Charles and Molly Beattie. Siblings; Charles (Althea) Beattie, Sandra (Gary) DuVall, Stephen Beattie, and Nancy (Steven) DuMars. He is the loving grandfather of Cameron, Brooklyn, Brianna, and Aiden. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Alta Beattie and nephew, Joseph.
Visitation will be held at Young Funeral Home on Monday from 6-8pm with a Memorial Service at 8pm. Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family.
