Gordon R. Wiswell's Obituary
Gordon R. Wiswell, age 90, of China Twp., died November 4, 2016. He was born November 11, 1925 in St. Clair to the late Floyd and Hazel Wiswell. Gordon served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. On December 10, 1949 he married Donna Roof in St. Clair.
He was Past President of the Blue Water Polka Boosters and a member of Fred Quant Post #3901, Algonac.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Donna Wiswell, daughter and son in law, Bonita and David Hearn, grandchildren, Eric Wiswell, Adam Hearn, and Lacey Bassett, great grandchildren, Arlynn, Courtney, Selena and Eric Jr., sisters, Gladys (Ted) Pavlik, Gertrude (Frank) Thueme and Marian (Bill) Peters. He is predeceased by a son, Randall Wiswell, daughter, Pamela Bassett and nine siblings.
