Gordon J. Reynolds' Obituary
Gordon J. Reynolds Sr., passed away, February 24, 2024 in Sandal Valley Assisted Care, Lenox, Michigan. He was born October 13, 1932 in Cottrellville, MI to the late Audrey and Eva (Paquette) Reynolds.
Gordon was a true family man, he did well for his wife and children. They had a fun life filled with adventures, horses, mini bikes, go carts, snowmobiling, tenting up north with neighbors, then to purchasing a cabin up north. He was a 3rd degree Knight of the Marine City Knights of Columbus council 856. He was a hard-working man that took pride in his work and his family. In which he installed these traits to his children.
He is survived by his children, Greg Reynolds and Debbie (Bill) Reynolds Thompson; grandchildren, Dayna Jokoty, Greg Rowe, Josey Reynolds, Brandon Reynolds, Bridget Rowe, Serena Leach, David Carew, Brittany Carew; great grandchildren, Dakota and Morgan Jokoty, Scarlett and G. Rowe, Isaac, Madylin, Cash, Mason Reynolds, Alexis, Jaxon, Jayden, Daniel Reynolds, Jorydyn Rowe, Madyln, Mason Leach, Willow, Markus and Kaden Carew, Addison, McKenzie Carew; sister, Philla Mae Jaworowicz, a lifelong friend who he took out for drives and conversations Catherine Thompson, along with several nieces and nephews.
Gordon is preceded in death by his wife, LuLa Reynolds, daughter Lori Reynolds Rowe; daughter, Lisa Carew; son, Gord Reynolds; grandson, Derek Reynolds; great granddaughter, Taylor M. Reynolds.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church with visiting from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to wishes of the family. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
