Gloria A. Koob's Obituary
Gloria Annette Koob, age 70, passed away July 17, 2026. She was born November 21, 1955 in St. Clair to the late Michael and Valentina Kielbasa.
She married Walter Koob on January 7, 1983 in Port Huron.
Gloria was a very hard worker and began working at the St. Clair Inn at age 17 and from there working at the Voyageur in St. Clair. She enjoyed visiting with the patrons and becoming friends with her regulars.
Outside of work she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her best friend Lora Lerash.
She is survived by her husband; Walter Koob and her children; Tom (Lisa) Raymo, Jeremy (Kerri) Raymo and Michele (Chad) Simpson.
She is also survived by her grandchildren; Ryan Raymo, Stella Raymo, and Elena, Ceona, Jasmine and Reed Simpson.
She was preceded in death by her brother; Mike Kielbasa.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
