Mr. Glen E. Kollmorgen's Obituary
Glen E. Kollmorgen, age 67, of China Twp., passed away February 28, 2013 in his home with his family at his side.
He was born August 10, 1945 in Fraser, Mich. to the late Glen and Eleanore Kollmorgen. On June 19, 1970 Glen married Ruth Ann Schweihofer in St. Clair.
Glen was employed as an electrician at Pontiac Motors for 36 years. Glen could fix anything you put in front of him and he loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Ruth Ann Kollmorgen, children; Gwen (Hartl) Kollmorgen, Alicia Kollmorgen, Georgette (Steve) Harris and Archie Kollmorgen, grandchildren; Oliver, Lillian and Arthur Harris, brother; Dennis (Linda) Kollmorgen, sister; Patricia (Steve) Sieger, brothers in law and sisters in law; Larry and Carol Schweihofer, Marge Schweihofer and Pat and Sharon Schweihofer, many nieces and nephews and lifetime friend; Jim Fletmier.
He was preceded in death by a son; Glen Ernest Kollmorgen III.
Funeral services will begin Monday March 4th at 10:45 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. with a funeral mass at 11:30 a.m . at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m.
