Gladys M. Bennett's Obituary
Gladys M. Bennett, age 85, of St. Clair, died peacefully surrounded by her family on June 13, 2018. Gladys married the love of her life, George “Bud” Bennett III on May 26, 1953 in Angola, Indiana. Gladys enjoyed many things but spending time with her family was always her favorite. She was so proud of all of her years of involvement with the St. Clair Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She also enjoyed all of the years she spent providing end of life care to others.
She is survived by her ten children, George “Bud” (Theresa) Bennett IV, Mark (Deborah) Bennett, Vicki Rome, Robert “Chip” (Dawn) Bennett, Cathy (Ed) Hammang, Michael “Byrd” (Gloria) Bennett, Rick Bennett, Scott Bennett, Corey (Stacey) Bennett, Brad Bennett, 28 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and a brother, Bob (Sally) Hudson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George “Bud”, sister Floy Ann, and brother, Bill.
Funeral service will be Monday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be Sunday, June 17 from 2-6p.m at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Memorials are suggested to Blue Water Hospice.
