Cathy, please accept my sympathy on the loss of both of your parents. I truly understand the void, as my dad passed last August and mom last December. We have to rejoice that our parents have been reunited and are no longer troubled with the pains of this earth. I pray that memories will give you some peace.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. My parents were part of the Bridge group formed by several couples at St. Clare de Montefalco/ neighbors. I have fond memories of all of them,including your Mom and Dad, playing cards and enjoying each other’s company, their laughter drifting upstairs waking me, as they enjoyed dessert and conversation late into the night, and their “ weekend bridge get-always to Port Huron. They were a great group of friends.
Your Mom also stayed in contact with my Mom over the many years, and especially all sixteen years my Mom was at ShorePoint Nursing Care Center. So many beautiful cards and loving, encouraging notes. I will never forget her kindness, her calls to me when my Dad, Bill, passed away, and when my Mom passed away. Ironically, my Mom passed on April 23, 2019! You can be sure they are laughing and having great times once again. All my love and prayers to you.

I did not know all this about Gil nor that she was 90! Just know she was a fun, kind and gentle person. Both she and Bob were good to me.
