Mrs. Gertrude H. Kerbrat's Obituary
Gertrude H. Kerbrat, age 95, of St. Clair, died February 1, 2014. She was born May 6, 1918 in Detroit to the late Arthur and Gertrude (Faber) Hitchens. On June 14, 1941 Gertrude married Felix F. Kerbrat at St. Clare de Montefalco Church. He preceded her in death on September 4, 1984.
She is survived by children; Timothy (Linda), Thomas, Kathryn (Thomas) DiSimone, Joseph (Donna) and Richard, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren, sisters, Phyllis Socia and Nancy Brennan and a brother, J. Danial Hitchens. She was predeceased by sisters, Kathleen Steffes, Margaret Rose, Helen Carrico and Mary Hitchens and brothers, Arthur Jr. and Charles Hitchens. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Friday 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
