Geraldine Volker's Obituary
Geraldine M. Volker, age 84, of East China Twp., died October 25, 2010. She was born May 12, 1926 in Ferndale to the late Carl and Agnes Ward. Geraldine was a talented artist with oils and had a passion for traveling with her late husband Frederick Volker, visiting all 50 states. Geraldine had a keen talent for seeing the unusual in the everyday.
She is survived by her children; John Volker and Joanne (Ron) Ouellette, grandchildren; Craig and Dean Ouellette and John F. Volker, sisters; Lois Schutt, Evelyn Lisee, and Carol Wolf and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Volker, sister; Muriel Gillenkirk, brothers; Arthur Ward and Richard Ward.
Visiting hours are Thursday 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home. Private family graveside services will be conducted.
