Gerald "Jerry" Polaski's Obituary
Gerald "Jerry" Polaski, age 55, of St.Clair Twp. died May 6, 2013. He was born May 11, 1957 to Robert and Blanche Polaski in Rogers City, MI. He married Jayne Womack on August 27, 1983.
He worked in the plastics industry for most of his working career in management and engineering. He was a gifted woodworker and craftsman and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair.
He is survived by his wife; Jayne Polaski, son; Devin (Noelle) Polaski, mother; Blanche Polaski. He is also survived by his eight siblings and their spouses and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held on Tuesday May 14 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St.Clair. A memorial gathering will be held at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. on Monday May 13 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at church prior to service. A rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening. Memorials may be made to Blue Water Hospice Home.
