Gerald E. Lohr Sr.'s Obituary
Gerald Edward Lohr, born June 21, 1936 to Carl and Beulah Lohr passed away Sunday September 5th.
A 1954 valedictorian of Marysville High School he attended University of Michigan, Eastern, Western Michigan and Michigan State earning Bachelor, Masters, Specialist and Doctorate degrees. After teaching in the Utica Community Schools for more than 40 years he retired to live on the beautiful St. Clair River.
He was a soloist in many churches and sang with the Interfaith and St. Clair Community Choirs.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years; Carole (Sturdevant) and sons; Gerald Edward, Jr. (wife Elizabeth), John Carl (wife Shannon) and Mark David. He is also survived by two granddaughters; Elizabeth and Annalese, brother; David and sister in-law; Beverly Lohr.
Cremation arrangements by Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and private family services will be conducted.
