Gerald Mark Kotranza "Jerry"'s Obituary
Gerald Mark Kotranza “Jerry”, age 83, of Wales Twp., passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026 with family by his side. He was born on July 15, 1942 to the late Stephen and Christine Kotranza. Jerry was a graduate of St. Clair High School, class of 1960. He married Dorothy Kaminski on November 3rd, 1962. Dorothy preceded him in death on June 8, 2025. Jerry retired from General Motors as an engineer. Following his retirement, in his spare time, Jerry was always looking to learn. He had a never-ending quest for knowledge. Jerry made sure to help others. He would put other people needs before his own. His generosity, and selflessness will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sons, Don (Denise) Kotranza, Jon Kotranza; grandchildren, Josh (Rebecca), Andrew (Tricia), Erin, Eric (Ashton), Devin (Claudia); 9 great grandchildren; siblings, Bob (Diane Wooliver) Kotranza, Karen (Frank) Pawlak, Steven (Rosemary) Kotranza, Elena (Harvey) Westrick, Philip (Karen) Kotranza.
He is preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca (Ken) Merritt.
