Gerald "Jerry" Hutkowski's Obituary
Gerald “Jerry” Hutkowski, age 79, of St. Clair, passed away June 16, 2021. He was born June 3, 1942 in St. Clair to the late Cass and Genevieve Hutkowski. On January 18, 1964 Jerry married Loretta Schneider.
Jerry was employed with Detroit Edison. In his sparetime he enjoyed vegetable farming and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Loretta Hutkowski; children, Kevin Hutkowski (Patty Miller), Kim (Mark) French, Gary Hutkowski and Jason (Sheila) Hutkowski; grandchildren, Kevin Gerald, Christopher, Zachary, Ashley, Ryan, Megan, Joshua, Mitchell and Jeff; several great grandchildren; sisters, Barb (Ed) Dziubinski, Pat (Jim) Hunger and Nancy (Scott) Herber and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin Tuesday June 22nd at 10:15 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, then processing to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair for an 11:00 a.m. mass. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Monday June 21st from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
