Jan and I were very sorry to learn of Jerry passing and we want to express our deepest condolences to the family. I have not seen much of Jerry over the years with a the exception of the class reunions, "HAIL CLASS OF 55". During those four years we spent at MCHS we enjoyed many good times together and especially during the noon hour. As I recall we would have a quick lunch then wander down to Holland's Chevrolet and check out the new models. During that time they were always a big WOW! . As hunting season approached we would always walk down Water street to Zimmerman's Hardware and check out the new shotguns displayed in the window. I don't recall that any of us actually did skip school on the first day of the season ,but we sure talked about it a lot. And then there was always the pool hall and it seemed like that was where the big guys hung out. We had many games and the looser always had to shell out 20 cents for use of the table.
I would like to make a small memorial gift to Jerry's church or favorite cause. Could you let me know at [email protected] how to proceed on that. At my age I am not as agile on these websites as my granddaughters. Don Wissman
