Gerald K. Beedon's Obituary
Gerald K. Beedon Jr. age 73, of China Twp., MI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 8, 2025. He was born on September 26, 1951 at a Naval Base in Chuckatuck, VA to the late Gerald and Virginia Beedon. Jerry honorably served in the United States Navy from 1969-1973. Jerry retired in 2017 after 25 years of employment with DTE. Jerry was most happy in his garage working on cars, especially his 1953 Ford and helping his boys work on their cars. He also loved traveling and camping.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debbie; his boys, Brian (Sarah), Eric (Kelly); grandchildren, Haleigh, Jared, Andrew, Jake, Avery, Emerson; sisters-in-law, Cindy Weier, Lisa (Dave) Chitwood; brother-in-law, Randy (Susan) Simons; sisters, Veronica (Dan) Brenner, Sandy (Ron) Horn, Dawn (Joe) Katona; brothers, John (Kimberly) Richardson, Vern (Crystal) Richardson, Roger (Kerry) Beedon; sister-in-law, Beth Beedon, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son, Scott, who he was looking forward to being reunited with; father-in-law, Eddie Simons; brother, Randy Beedon; sister, Vicky Beedon; niece, Kelli Jo Chitwood.
Cremation arrangements with Young Funeral Home, China Twp. According to Jerry’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
