Mrs. Georgiann Hudson's Obituary
Georgiann Hudson, 57, of St. Clair Township passed to eternal life on Friday, November 22nd, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. Georgiann, "Georgie" to her friends and co-workers, was a 1974 graduate of Marine City High School. She married Randy Hudson on July 11, 1975 in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. She worked in the medical field for over 30 years. After graduating from St. Clair County Community College in 2003, with a Nursing Degree, she worked as a compassionate and dedicated RN for the past 10 years at St. John River District Hospital.
Georgiann loved to make cards, enjoying putting her personal touch on messages for birthdays, Christmases and special occasions. She also loved crafting, shopping and being on the St. Clair River swimming and watching freighters and boats go by.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Randy, a son Gregory and girlfriend Becca Grimm of Washington, DC; daughter Julianne and fiancee John Young of Berkley, MI; father George and Alice Kaminski of Marine City; sisters Paula (Dave) Shirkey of Lenox, MI; and Andres (Scott) Clemons of Stafford, Virginia; brother Tim (Julie) of Goodrich, MI and brothers and sisters in law Bob (Marilyn) Hudson of Clear Lake, CA, Ken (Melanie) Hudson of Marysville, MI, Rick (Pat) Hudson of Warren, MI. Georgie also leaves behind dear friends Lesley Laudazio, Judy Daniels and Jane Sargent. She was predeceased by her mother Mary and grandparents Paul and Estelle Tordosinski and Bruno and Mary Kaminski, and many aunts and uncles.
Cremation has taken place and the family will welcome guests to celebrate Georgiann's life at a memorial gathering at Young Funeral Home, China Township, on Saturday, November 30th from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
