George F. Biscarner's Obituary
George F. Biscarner, age 84, of Marysville, died April 1, 2011. He was born to Marjorie and George Biscorner on September 25, 1926.
George served for 18 months in the U.S. Navy serving on the destroyer U.S.S. Glennon. When he came home from the service he met and married N. Ann Wuest. They married April 19, 1947 at St. Mary's Rectory in St. Clair. They lived at 4740 Yankee Rd. in St. Clair for many years raising their 11 children; George Jr. (Caroline), Maryann (Jerry) Dudzinski, Linda (Larry) Visga, Sharon (Ray) Oppitz, Larry (Patricia), Tom (Jan), John (Karen), Nancy (Jerry) Snyder, Connie (Ken) Meddaugh, Howard (Toni), Tony (Francene). He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, brothers; Don, Richard, Bill and Chuck, sisters; Marge and Louann. He was preceded in death by his brother Jack and his parenets.
George worked for 20 years at the St. Clair Rubber Plant and owned Biscarners Tree Service for 20 years, which is what he loved doing most.
He also loved fishing and playing cards.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Visiting hours are 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 both Sunday and Monday at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. A rosary will be said Monday at 8:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul, St. Mary's Scholarship Fund or St. Christophers Church.
