George John Terrien's Obituary
George John Terrien, age 81, of China Twp., formerly of Warren, MI. Passed away in his home on December 21, 2024. He was born August 22, 1943 in Warren to the late George Edward and Rita Terrien. George was a Lincoln High School graduate, class of 1962. He married the love of his life Linda Mathis in Troy, Michigan on September 11, 1965. George worked as a mechanical engineer for Giddings and Lewis where he retired from after 32 years.
George loved being out on his boat, fishing. He enjoyed all sports and was an avid Red Wings fan, he also played softball throughout his younger years into his late 40’s.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda; children, George Robert (Diane) Terrien, Elizabeth (Ron) Reed; grandchildren, Brittany, Linda, Shelby, Klarissa, Ryan, Travis; great grandchildren, Owen, Allison, Brooklyn, Milo, Wade, Nora; siblings, Frances (Late Frank) Kay, Barbara (Late Bill) Toth, Mike (Peggy) Terrien, Catherine (Mike) Catanzaro, Bob (Ingrid) Terrien.
