George J. Kaminski's Obituary
George J. Kaminski, age 85, of East China, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born April 27, 1930 in Hamtramck.
Mr. Kaminski was employed by the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement. He served In the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Tordozinski on May 1, 1979. George then married Alice Markel on June 6, 1984.
He is survived by his wife Alice, children; Paula (Dave) Shirkey, Andrea (Scott) Clemons, Tim (Julie) Kaminski, son in law, Randy Hudson, and step children; Don (Stacee), Dick (Jeanie), Steve (Margaret), Dan (Alice) Markel, Lori (Dave) Geib, Rita (Tim) Butler and Kathy (Jeff) Greib, 30 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren with number 11 on the way.
Mr. Kaminski is also predeceased by his daughter, Georgiann, infant sons Gregory and Jeffrey and grandson, Jonathan.
Funeral service will be Monday January 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours are Sunday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to service.
