Mr. Gary Jerome Todd's Obituary
Gary Jerome Todd, age 58, of East China Twp., went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on Tuesday December 3rd after a prolonged illness.
Gary was born July 15, 1955 in Detroit to Dorothy and the late John Todd and was raised in Shelby Twp. On June 1, 1991, Gary married, the love of his life, Carrie Springborn in Marine City.
Gary was the devoted and loving husband, father and son of wife Carrie Todd, son Jeremy Todd and mother Dorothy Todd. He was the beloved brother of James (Debbie) Todd, Mary Ann Berman and Patricia Todd. He will also be dearly missed by Father and Mother in law Ken and Joyce Springborn, Uncle Dan Dean and many nieces and nephews.
Gary led an amazing life.
He was an accomplished and avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He was comfortable fishing in the Gulf of Mexico or hunting in the Arctic Circle. He was founder and owner of Pro Release Archery Mfg. Co. and was the holder of 12 U.S. Patents, including the “Trophy Hunter”, a release aid for bow hunting. Gary always enjoyed showing his family and friends a good time, especially at his home in East China Twp. and in Cass City with his hunting buddies in the Blue Flame Hunt Club. He was loved by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service to honor and remember Gary will be held on Saturday December 7th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church, Marine City. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to services. Memorials can be made in honor of Gary to St. Martin’s Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
