Gary M. Simons' Obituary
Gary M. Simons, age 73, of Cottrellville Twp., passed away December 15, 2020. He was born January 3, 1947 in St. Clair to the late Milton and Agnes Simons.
Gary proudly served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded 2 Purple Hearts.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Peggy Simons; children, Penny (Charles) Hamblin, Gary Simons Jr., and Marie (Jerry) Warner; grandchildren, Angel (O’Neil) Deason, April (Kurt) Brown, Richard Hamblin, Damien Warner (Faith), Jared, Cooper and Emily Warner and David Sayers; 7 great grandchildren; sister and brother in law, Charlotte (Ken) Genshow; sister in law, Mary Agnes Simons; father in law, Bud Sayers and many nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by his brothers, Wesley, Maitland and Laverne Simons.
Funeral service will be held Friday December 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery, East China Twp.
Visiting hours are Thursday December 17th 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Masks are required.
